We’re beyond proud to announce that our brilliant founder, CEO and all round Collagen Queen Maxine has been named as one of the LDC’s Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders 2020!

Now in its third year, this list seeks out and celebrates the most ambitious leaders of UK medium-sized businesses - so to be among such a distinguished list of businesspeople marks an incredible milestone. The LDC have recognised Maxine as one of the “strategists, innovators and calculated risk takers that are pulling the nation and our economy forward, generating hope and optimism for the future”.

It is especially significant that Maxine has been recognised among the Top 50 in this year in particular, as the ongoing pandemic has meant that 2020 has been one of the most challenging years for UK businesses. Team AC are so proud of all of this year’s phenomenal achievements despite these challenging conditions, including moving into our beautiful new office and launching our brand new anti-aging serum, Maxerum. All of these achievements are only possible thanks to Maxine and her fantastic leadership and sense of direction, passion, and drive.

The LDC recently profiled Maxine for their site, praising her entrepreneurial spirit and the amazing success she’s made Absolute Collagen in such a short period of time. She spoke about her ambition for Absolute Collagen, including her next goal of taking the brand global and expanding on our current presence in parts of Europe. She also paid tribute to the fact she came from a single-parent family which helped her become solutions-focused at a young age. Maxine also reflected on the fact that when she started Absolute Collagen as a 50 year old woman with no business experience, nobody believed in her. You can read the full interview on the Maxine Laceby LDC profile.

The measure of success has always been our tens of thousands of happy Absoluters across the world, and everything Maxine does is with the Absoluter community in mind. Maxine says: “I have always remained true to who I am, and my morals and principles run through the core of Absolute Collagen. Upon discovering the amazing effects of taking Absolute Collagen in my kitchen I made it my mission to bring my supplement to as many people as possible. AC is about stepping into your own skin and being the best version of you.” It’s amazing to have this passion and subsequent achievements recognised by the LDC, and we couldn’t be prouder of our fabulous founder.
