We are delighted to announce the official launch of the Absolute Collagen sachet recycling scheme.

Keeping Absolute Collagen as environmentally friendly as possible is very important to us, and while our sachets are made from recyclable materials, they currently can’t be recycled via your usual kerbside household recycling collections. We weren’t happy with this, so we’ve done something about it. And now, we’re kicking off National Recycle Week (September 21st-27th) by launching our solution: a brand new initiative to ensure your sachets can be responsibly returned and recycled.

We’re absolutely delighted to be able to offer this new scheme, because we know this is something that our fabulous Absoluters have been asking about for a while now in feedback, surveys, and social media comments, and we hear you. After all, when it comes to caring for our planet, there’s nothing more beautiful.

Recycling your Absolute Collagen sachets

In order to keep things efficient and maximise the eco-friendly benefits, we request that you send a minimum of 28 sachets - i.e two boxes worth of sachets - back each time, but basically, the more the merrier!

The process is really simple, and what’s more, it’s free! We’ve designed the entire scheme with ease and convenience in mind, so we hope as many Absoluters as possible will be able to take advantage of this new initiative.

  • Step one - add one of our new freepost recycling bags onto your next order. (You’ll receive an email telling you how to do this, so keep an eye on your inbox!) Plus, did you know you can also add a bottle of our brand new Maxerum serum to your order in the same way?
  • Step two - when you get your recycling bag, pop a minimum of 28 sachets inside. We want to make it as efficient and effective as possible for everyone, so we ask that you save up as many sachets as you can before sending them back. 28 is the minimum, but we’d love to see how many you can fit in - send us as many as 50 at a time if you like!
  • Step three - fill in your email address or order number on the front of the bag.
  • Step four - simply seal up the bag and drop it into your local post box. It’s a freepost bag, so no need to worry about stamps, postage cost, or going to a Post Office.

Once the bags return to us at Absolute Collagen HQ, we’ll take it from there. We are partnering with a specialist recycling plant where your sachets will be responsibly recycled and repurposed, avoiding landfill and protecting our planet from needless waste.

You’ll be able to add a new recycling bag to any future orders as and when you need them, making it a seamless part of your Absolute Collagen experience and helping to prevent waste one bag of AC sachets at a time.

Thank you for helping us help the planet!
