OUR POSITIVE IMPACT.
Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility
Integrity. Transparency. Authenticity. That’s absolutely how we do business.

"FOR ME, SUSTAINABILITY ISN’T A STRATEGY. IT’S A STANDARD."
“From day one we’ve been about more than just collagen. We care inside and out about our products, customers, community and the planet. We’re proud to be a B Corp and we owe it to ourselves and the next generation to continue building a business that does the right thing - empowering women every step of the way.”
ETHICALLY & SUSTAINABLY SOURCED PRODUCTS.
We believe in setting the standard in ethical sourcing.
SINGLE SOURCE.
Our industry-leading collagen is fully traceable and produced at source by ASC-certified manufacturers at an environmentally responsible, world class facility.
FARMED FISH & PASTURE-FED HERDS.
Responsibly sourced marine and bovine collagen are non-negotiable. As a by-product of the global meat and fish industry, it is deforestation-free and doesn’t deplete the ocean.
MANUFACTURED IN THE UK WITH 100% NATURAL INGREDIENTS.
Our collagen is Halal-certified (marine only), and does not contain gluten and artificial additives.
PROVEN PURITY.
Ours is the cleanest collagen in the game, has been tested for heavy metals, hormones and antibiotics, and is produced using the highest animal welfare standards.
EMPOWERING OUR PEOPLE.
We prove the value of our people through actions, not words.
PRESERVING THE PLANET.
We're proudly committed to future-proofing the planet and take responsible action every step of the way.

ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS MANUFACTURING.
We've made a conscious choice to use suppliers that are environmentally-friendly. Our marine collagen is processed at source from Asia reducing our impact vs those who ship their heavy-source material to process their collagen in the EU, before shipping to the UK. Plus, our bovine collagen is from a facility powered solely by renewable energy sources.
OUR CLIMATE CONTRIBUTION THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS.
The amount of CO2 emissions we've reduced, removed or avoided through our projects.
The amount of plastic waste we aim to reduce entering the ocean through the ‘Plastic Bank’ initiative - helping to protect the climate and improve the lives of local people.
The amount of clean drinking water filters we’re supporting the delivery of to local people in Laos through the ‘Clean Water’ project.
The amount of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) we as a business are contributing to through our supported projects.
CO2 EMISSIONS AT AN ALL-TIME LOW.
Our total greenhouse gas emissions per employee have dropped from 9.84 in 2021 to 1.56 in 2025 on the intensity scale.

frequently asked questions
What's the difference between farmed and wild caught fish?
The process of wild caught fish can have significant environmental impact through overfishing, bycatch, inhumane killing, habitat destruction and contamination. Even certified processes (whilst better) are still depleting the oceans resources in the long-term. Our marine collagen is the purest, most effective available. It’s 100% ethically and sustainably sourced from farmed, fresh-water fish, that's a by-product of the global meat and fish industry, is deforestation-free and doesn’t contribute to ocean depletion, biodiversity or habitat loss. It's a more sustainable option and of more consistent quality. Our founders and compliance team have been to visit and audit the farms and manufacturing processes we use to ensure we’re compliant. This supply chain governance is just one of the many areas B Corp® measures – proof that doing business sustainably is 100% our thing.
What does SBTi mean?
It stands for the Science Based Targets initiative. SBTi is a global not-for-profit organisation guiding businesses to set and validate carbon reduction targets that actually line up with climate science. It’s a way of committing to and proving your climate action is real and measurable - not just greenwashing.
How do you get a B Corp® certification?
It’s not a quick tick-box, and that’s the point. B Corp® released new standards in 2025 that we'll be assessed on in 2027. They go deeper across 7 impact topics; 1. Purpose & Stakeholder Governance, 2. Fair Work, 3. Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI), 4. Human Rights, 5. Climate Action, 6. Environmental Stewardship & Circularity, and 7. Government Affairs & Collective Action. The new process includes an independant audit to verify we meet the requirements to re-certify as a B Corp®. For more info, check out ' B Lab UK '.
Does Absolute Collagen offset its emissions?
Yes. We've undertaken beyond-value-chain mitigation offseting our Scope 1, 2 and partial scope 3 emissions since 2022. We measure the carbon we produce across our operations and we work with ClimatePartner to track it properly and offset it through supporting verified projects around the world.
Are your skincare and haircare products recyclable too?
Yes - if done properly. Our glass SERUM bottles? Fully recyclable. Just remove the pipette and give them a quick rinse. Our SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER bottles are made with 50% post-consumer recycled plastic - so we’re not just using less, we’re reusing more. Tubes, pots, discs? All recyclable too - just give everything a rinse and recycle at home. And the cartons they come in? Fully recyclable, with instructions printed right there (because guessing games aren’t our thing). Less waste. More thought. Exactly how it should be.
