Maxine’s January Round-up - Podcasts, Panel Talks and City Walks!

I'm back with my first monthly round-up of the 2023. Read on to find more about what Team AC and I got up to in January.

Hello my fabulous Absoluters, it’s time for my first monthly round-up of the year and it’s safe to say that like every other month - January was a busy one!

Normally the start of the year is pretty quiet as we try to adjust with the end of the Christmas celebrations and festive period, but we started 2023 in full swing here at Absolute Collagen.

Panel Talks

Kick-starting the new year with some fun appearances, our very own Darcy was a guest speaker at the Shopify Stories Talk and The Start-Up Show with Enation. At both of these events, Darcy was on a panel which featured other entrepreneurs. Here, she spoke about the Absolute Collagen brand journey and what it’s like to run a business as a young business owner. It was a great turn out and she gave some insightful advice to aspiring business entrepreneurs too.

Podcasts

The guest appearances do not end there as Darcy was also invited to feature on The Founders Podcast, where she joined hosts Alex and Joe to discuss the Absolute Collagen story, sharing the brand’s success and how she often gets mistaken for a marketing exec and not the co-founder! This is a good thing - it means the collagen is working Darcy!

City Walks and Fitness

Lastly, we all know I love to participate in fitness events, and January was no different as I took part in the London Winter Walk along the River Thames. I was joined by my lovely friend Sam, where we walked 50km through the heart of London, enjoying a great walk and taking in the beauty of the capital and its landmarks - it was a double win!
